David has been serving as the Vice President of Development for the Foundation since mid October, 2009. He comes to Seton with more than 31 years experience in the not-for-profit sector, including terms as the CEO for two Red Cross Chapters, the Executive Director for Special Olympics Washington, and Senior Vice President for The Alford Group.

David Disend, Major Gifts and Planned Giving Officer
David joined the staff of Seton Medical Center Foundation in June 2010. He brings to the Foundation 30 years experience in the non-profit sector as a teacher, school administrator, fundraiser, and fundraising manager, during which he and his teams have won 27 Council for the Advancement and Support of Education and International Association of Business Communicators awards. Beyond the Foundation, David serves this year as the president of the Golden Gate Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP).

Lea Hundley, Executive Assistant
Lea has five years of experience at SMC Foundation providing direct support to the VP of Development and Foundation staff. Prior to working at the Foundation she garnered 17 years of administrative experience working at Cable & Wireless, Digital Island, Inc., and Marsh & McLennan Companies, Inc.

Laurie Glynn, CMP Events and Annual Giving Officer
Laurie's professional experience includes more than twelve years in event production and sales/marketing for organizations such as: The Walt Disney Company, The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, and the University of California, Santa Barbara. Laurie enjoys living on the Coast with her husband and two children.

Sandy Ting, Database Coordinator
Sandy began her work with nonprofit databases using Raiser's Edge software at the SPCA. Four years later she continued her database work at The San Francisco Zoological Society. Prior to joining the Foundation, Sandy administered the database at SimplyShe, Inc. for cats and dogs apparel.

Jamie Rey, Intern
Jamie started here career at the foundation in 2007 while attending nursing school. Three years later she graduated from the University of San Francisco and has continued to assist the foundation in all capacities to assure that the mission of “helping others” has been achieved.
