2009 “Sipping with Seton” is Sensational Success!

Seton Medical Center Foundation raised more than $33,000 at “Sipping with Seton” on Thursday, April 2 at the Daly City, City Hall Rotunda. Proceeds will purchase a state-of-the-art baby warmer for the Seton Medical Center Women and Newborn Services Department and will support the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton New Life Center.

Mike Nicco, morning meteorologist for ABC Channel 7, served as Master of Ceremonies and Sal Torres, Mayor of Daly City, spoke of what a great service Seton Medical Center is for the community.

More than 200 guests sampled impressive wines from thirteen wineries plus ales from one brewery while enjoying live jazz and delicious hors d’oeuvres. Attendees also had the opportunity to purchase drawing tickets for a chance to win 33 bottles of fine wines valued at $1,150 and also were able to bid on 18 fabulous auction prizes.  All of the wine and auction items, valued at more than $9,000, were donated by more than 50 community members and businesses.
