The Foundation held its second annual Good Stewards Society Brunch at Lake Merced Golf Club on a sunny Saturday in December. Deacon John Norris, chairperson of the Foundation, graciously welcomed donors and guests. Dr. Barry Chauser spoke regarding the new equipment located in the Cancer Care Center and how the fundraising efforts of the Foundation made it possible to upgrade the Center to better help our Radiation Oncology patients. The highlight of the program was the awarding of the Good Stewards Society Medals. Father Rory Murphy blessed the medals and Sister William Eileen Dunn, D.C. joined by Bernadette Smith, President and CEO of Seton/Seton Coastside, did the honor of placing the medals around each awardee’s neck while thanking them for their extraordinary level of support.
