First Annual “Sipping with Seton” Wine Tasting Event Exceeds Goal!
Seton Foundation’s “Sipping with Seton” raised over $32,000 on June 20th at the Daly City Hall rotunda. The event proceeds will purchase ten new state-of-the art baby bassinettes for the Seton Medical Center Women and Newborn department as well as support the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton New Life Center.
Mike Nicco, meteorologist for ABC Channel 7, served as Master of Ceremonies while over 165 guests enjoyed impressive wines from sixteen wineries, live jazz and delicious hors d’oeuvres. Guests also had the opportunity to bid on many fabulous silent auction prizes donated by over forty community members and businesses.
Congratulations to Dr. Matthew Garced, Seton Medical Center Anesthesiologist. He was the lucky winner of the wine raffle consisting of 23 bottles of amazing wine valued at over $1,200.
